Google did a research on Travel in 2017 with Phocuswright and it suggests that more than 60% of U.S. travelers would consider an impulse trip based on a good hotel or flight deal. Heckmann, Google’s VP of engineering for travel and shopping added that over 1 in 3 travelers across countries are interested in using digital assistants to research or book travel,3 and they’re already searching for everything from hotels to flights, and things to do in-destination

      Who doesn’t like solo travel these days, the trend is becoming too popular and even many female travelers are going for a solo travel. This is really a good sign overall, finally, most of them are getting out of their comfort zones and going out to explore solo. So yes, more people are willing to take up this solo travel. Booking.com shows that 38% of those who have traveled solo will do it again. And more importantly, Searches for “solo female travel” grew by 52% between 2016 and 2017 indicating that solo female travelers are increasing.

      Yes, this is the trend now and is going to go big in 2019. You think what is it? It is nothing but taking purposeful candid photos to Instagram them, as simple as that. Everyone wants to travel and take best-shot pics that suit their Instagram themes.

      HomeAway’s data also suggests Gen Z are embracing vacation rentals as no other generation has. For instance, 35% of Gen Z travelers are likely to travel with friends, the largest of any group. Gen Z travelers also spend their time away in cities (more than 60% of the time), far exceeding rural and suburban destinations. And Gen Z travelers are already familiar with the benefits of a vacation rental. HomeAway also noted a staggering 325% jump in demand among travelers with children last year. Looks like Gen Z is being raised in vacation rentals.
